We’re on hiatus.

To our Carolina Fear Fest fans, friends, and family:

It truly breaks our dark and evil hearts to write this message, but Carolina Fear Fest will not be returning with a 2026 show. We are taking a hiatus-year and will be making decisions regarding the 2027 show at a later date.
There are several things that have factored into this decision, primarily concerns regarding the overall economic environment and its impact on many types of events such as ours.

We encourage everyone to please continue to support their local events, and especially the vendors, performers, and service providers that are affected by shifts in the events universe.

I am extremely proud of the show that we created and hope the Horror-Gods are listening when we say we are looking for ways to keep it alive in the future. Please continue to follow us on your social platform of choice or join our email insider list to make sure you are up to date on future announcements. Plans are in motion to do a flash sale for on-hand merch including tees, art, totes and more.

Keep searching for your horror happiness each day, whether you find it in bloodbaths, slashers, the supernatural, or true-crime, in films big and small, in books and art, on podcasts and beyond. Rock that horror life, friends – we love you!
